"This is your moment. Our moment. You're a born fighter. Do what we came here to do!" Seismic Releasing has unveiled the official trailer for the film "Undercard," another boxing drama that follows the journey of a young boxer and the sacrifices he makes to achieve victory. After premiering at a festival last year, this film is set to hit theaters starting in February this winter. Through the eyes of a former champion-turned-trainer, "Undercard" is a character-driven drama that delves into the enduring bonds of family, the weight of legacy, and the cost—and possibility—of hard-earned redemption. An old-timer boxing trainer & former champ attempts to re-connect with the son she abandoned by becoming his trainer when he needs to fight his way back to the top.

Starring Wanda Sykes and Bentley Green, with Xavier Mills, William Stanford Davis, Roselyn Sánchez, Berto Colón, and Estella Kahiha, "Undercard" tells a tale of resilience, courage, and the battles we fight both in and out of the ring. Take a look.
When Cheryl "No Mercy" Stewart (Wanda Sykes), a two-time former boxing champ & recovering alcoholic, attempts to reconnect with her 21-year-old son whom she abandoned, she's met with a wall of resentment. Keith Stewart (Bentley Green), a street hustler and promising young fighter, is just one bad attitude away from a world boxing title. When he suffers an unnecessary loss due to his gambling-addicted trainer, he's forced to turn to the only person who has what it takes to bring him to the top – his mother.
"Undercard" is directed by American filmmaker Tamika Miller, who has previously directed films like "Back to the Good Life," "The Christmas Lottery," and "Honor Student," plus episodes of "The Equalizer" TV series. The screenplay is written by Anita M. Cal and Tamika Miller. Produced by Anne Clements, Paul Kampf, Tamika Miller, Mark Pennell, and Andres Ramirez, this film initially premiered at the 2025 Newport Beach Film Festival last fall. Seismic Releasing is debuting Miller's "Undercard" in select US theaters starting February 27th, 2026.
