Western Thriller 'Killing Faith' Trailer with Guy Pearce & Bill Pullman 1

In the lawless frontier of 1849, where summer's heat scorches the earth and a deadly plague rages unchecked, whispers spread of a young girl cursed by the devil himself. Amidst this chaos, one man stands at a crossroads, torn between flight and valor. A widowed doctor, reluctantly agreeing to escort a newly liberated slave and her enigmatic Caucasian daughter across the treacherous West, embarks on a perilous five-day journey to seek out a fabled Faith Healer in a distant town. The slave, convinced her daughter is possessed, grapples with fear, while the doctor, suspecting "The Sickness," navigates the fine line between science and superstition. One haunting truth binds them all: everything the child touches withers and dies. How chilling!

Starring Guy Pearce, DeWanda Wise, Bill Pullman, Raoul Trujillo, Jamie Neumann, Jack Alcott, Joanna Cassidy, and Emily Ford, "Killing Faith" promises a narrative as grim as it is gripping. This western-tinged thriller, directed by emerging filmmaker Ned Crowley, unfurls against the bloody backdrop of the untamed West. The screenplay, penned by Crowley alongside David Henri Martin, is based on a story by Crowley himself. Produced by Zori Davidkova, Wes Hager, David Henri Martin, and Ned Crowley, "Killing Faith" has, to our knowledge, not premiered at any festivals or screenings prior to its theatrical engagement.

Shout Studios will introduce Crowley's directorial gem, "Killing Faith," to select US theaters beginning October 3rd, 2025. Does it captivate your imagination?
