Zazie Beetz's hotel stay in the forthcoming horror-comedy feature, "They Will Kill You," appears to be far from serene. The blood-soaked trailer released by Warner Bros. and directed by Kirill Sokolov, which hits theaters on March 27, is a testament to this. Joining Beetz in the cast are Myha'la, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette.
The film centers around a newly hired housekeeper (Beetz) at a mysterious New York City hotel called the Virgil. She soon discovers that the building is the headquarters of a satanic cult, with the members having chosen her as their next sacrifice.

In the trailer, Beetz receives a chilling warning: "This building is a temple to Satan. Each month, we must pay with a human sacrifice. Tonight, you are the offering." Later, a character asks her, "Where did you learn how to fight like that?" To which she nonchalantly replies, "Prison."
Sokolov, who co-wrote the script with Alex Litvak, directs the film. Hailing from New Line Cinema and Nocturna, "They Will Kill You" counts Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Dan Kagan as producers. Litvak and Sokolov executive produce the project alongside Russell Ackerman, John Schoenfelder, and Carl Hampe.
The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported in August 2024 that Arquette and Felton had joined the movie's cast. Currently, Beetz can be seen opposite André Holland and Kate Mara in "The Dutchman," which hit theaters over the weekend. She also has a role in Gore Verbinski's feature "Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die," set for theatrical release next month.
