11817 revolves around a family quartet, sealed off within the confines of their home, with no escape route in sight. If this setup isn't nightmarish enough, their dwindling resources amplify their plight, compelling them to unite not only against the scarcity of basics but also against a shadowy, impending peril that has ensnared them indoors. The screenplay, penned by Matthew Robinson (whose credits include Love and Monsters, Dora and the Lost City of Gold, and The Invention of Lying), promises a gripping narrative.

Leterrier will take on the producer's role alongside Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kori Adelson under Chernin Entertainment, as well as Oly Obst for 3Arts. Serving as executive producers are Thomas Benski, Cécile Gaget, Lars Sylvest, and Thorsten Schumacher.

Lee, familiar from projects like The Morning Show, Past Lives, and Russian Doll, is also set to shine in upcoming ventures such as Tron: Ares and an untitled Kathryn Bigelow thriller currently in development at Netflix. Moura, whose resume boasts titles like Civil War, Narcos, Narcos: Mexico, and Shining Girls, will next be seen in Last Night at the Lobster and the series Dope Thief, in addition to his role in 11817.

This film promises to bring a riveting blend of sci-fi suspense and family drama, painting a vivid picture of a world turned upside down by unexpected confinement.
