Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson revealed that he politely declined a lucrative $3 million offer from Donald Trump and the Republican Party to entertain the crowds at Trump's Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday evening. "I received a call; they wanted me for Sunday," the renowned rapper and television tycoon disclosed to The Breakfast Club on Tuesday morning, when a host inquired about whether he had been approached to endorse the former president's bid for a return to the White House.
"They sweetened the deal with a $3 million offer," 50 Cent unveiled, while also acknowledging that he had been invited to perform his hit song "Many Men (Wish Death)" at the Republican National Convention this summer. However, he respectfully turned down that invitation too.
On Sunday, Hulk Hogan, Dr. Phil McGraw, Dana White, and Elon Musk lent their voices to Trump at a rally held at New York's iconic Madison Square Garden.
50 Cent explained that discussions with the Republican Party regarding performances and endorsements never got off the ground because "politics scare me, you feel me? I'm just not into any aspect of it. It's a minefield where, no matter your stance, someone will passionately disagree with you."
He further added that he steers clear of religion as well, alongside politics. "That's the recipe for the chaos that sent Kanye (West) packing to Japan. He vocalized his thoughts on both of those topics—and now, Japan's his only destination," he argued.
The Breakfast Club hosts then announced that they had to conclude their interview with 50 Cent as Vice President Kamala Harris was on the line next, playfully asking if their guest wanted to say hello. At this juncture, 50 Cent rose from his seat in mock indignation, querying, "Why you guys drag me into this mess! I thought we had a thing? What's going on, man?"
The rapper then warmly hugged his podcast hosts amidst laughter, bringing the interview to a joyful close.
