Aisha Hinds is bidding an emotional adieu to her co-star from the hit ABC drama, "9-1-1," following the heart-wrenching demise of his character. On April 17th, the long-running series made a groundbreaking move by euthanizing a central cast member for the very first time in its eight-season run: L.A. Fire Captain Bobby Nash, brought to life with remarkable prowess by Peter Krause. In that poignant episode, Bobby heroically sacrificed his own life to rescue his fellow firefighters, succumbing to a deadly virus they had been valiantly battling to contain.

Hinds, who embodies the role of Henrietta "Hen" Wilson in "9-1-1," took to Instagram on Saturday to pen a heart-touching tribute after eight seasons of sharing the screen with Krause. "Peter Krause is an extraordinary actor," she began in an elaborate post. "His extensive body of work has always affirmed this, and witnessing him infuse episode after episode with unparalleled range, depth, humor, and sheer physical vigor on '@911onabc' is an honor I cherish deeply. This journey has been a cornerstone of my career, etched forever in my memory. I am eternally grateful to Pete for his leadership, for the tender care he bestowed upon my heart in quiet, unspoken moments, and for the infectious laughter that carried us through endless days and nights. I thank him for cultivating a warm ambiance that enveloped everyone within our little universe. Grateful, too, for his model of unwavering integrity and character...right until the very end."

She continued, "Indeed, our dynamic shifted irreversibly with the loss of Bobby Nash, the linchpin of the 118. I hold dear the cherished memories that made our time together so unique. Our bond, both on and off-screen, was punctuated by playful interactions and moments of shared exhaustion. Riding in transport vans, with the camaraderie of the boys' banter serving as the soundtrack that resonated deeply within me. In some inexplicable way, I absorbed the essence of every word spoken without actually hearing them. The energy enveloped me, and everyone who embarked on this journey with us. It was pure love."

"Reading the script filled me with dread, and as we filmed each scene, my heart shattered in sorrow. As both an actor and an audience member, I watched in awe, grief, gratitude, and reverence as Pete poured his soul into Bobby Nash, leaving an indelible mark on our homes," her post concluded. "I celebrate his unwavering commitment to this character and to our show. I love him, always and forever."

Other stars of "9-1-1" have also shared their poignant farewells in the days that followed the shocking episode. Kenneth Choi, who portrays Howie "Chimney" Han, posted on Instagram last week, "Peter Krause, you are the epitome of class, an exceptionally talented actor, and a wonderful human being. Thank you, PK. I love you, buddy." Oliver Stark, who plays Evan "Buck" Buckley, echoed on his social media, "My dear friend Peter, we miss you every day at work. You were, and will forever be, our leader."
