Joining the previously announced stars Julianne Moore and Paul Giamatti are Halle Bailey, Havana Rose Liu, and Bernadette Peters, rounding out an ensemble that also boasts Bonnie Milligan, Colton Ryan, Lilli Cooper, and Maulik Pancholy.

According to the studio, the film weaves a tale of a reserved woman who finds herself cast in a community theater musical against all odds. As she immerses herself in her role, she embarks on an extraordinary journey of self-transformation. Eisenberg has penned the original music and lyrics for the musical sequences within the film, collaborating with music supervisor Steven Gizicki (of "La La Land" fame) and executive music producer Bill Sherman ("In The Heights").

Eisenberg has previously collaborated with A24 on his dramatic venture "When You Finish Saving the World." Fruit Tree, a long-standing partner of the studio, has previously worked with them on titles such as "I Saw the TV Glow" and the series "The Curse." Meanwhile, Topic Studios and A24 are currently in production on David Lowery's "Mother Mary," starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel.

CAA Media Finance, WME Independent, and Johnson Shapiro brokered the deal, ensuring that this promising film project would reach its rightful audience.
