Aaron Rodgers Confirms He Got Married a 'Couple Months' Ago in Surprise Wedding

Aaron Rodgers has tied the knot, making headlines in the sports world! During a press conference on June 10th, the 41-year-old NFL quarterback revealed to the media that he had recently exchanged vows with his loved one. Though he mentioned that the wedding ceremony had taken place "a couple of months" prior, he refrained from sharing any further details about the big day.

This news arrived just days after the athlete inked a fresh contract to don the Pittsburgh Steelers' jersey.

Rodgers first introduced his lady love, Brittani, to the world towards the end of 2024. Brittani, a private individual without a social media presence, sparked rumors of their nuptials soon after. Matters intensified when the athlete was spotted wearing a dark wedding band at the 2025 Barnstable Brown Gala in Louisville, Kentucky, on May 2, just before the Kentucky Derby. This sighting left fans buzzing on social media, convinced that Rodgers and Brittani had tied the knot.

Rodgers casually dropped the first public hint about Brittani during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show in December 2024. While discussing his Christmas shopping woes, he recounted a tense moment when a package meant for Brittani got delayed. When co-host A.J. Hawk, jokingly mistook her name for Britney Spears, Rodgers clarified with a chuckle, "Not Britney Spears, no, this is Brittani with an 'i'."

Later, as McAfee and his fellow hosts teased Rodgers about being "in love," the beaming athlete seemed to confirm his feelings, responding, "It's a good feeling, boys. It is."

In April 2025, Rodgers made another appearance on the show, sharing that his relationship with Brittani was "serious." He elaborated, "I'm in a different phase of my life. I'm 41 years old. I'm in a serious relationship. I have off-the-field responsibilities that require my attention."

Before finding love with Brittani, Rodgers, who has always been vocal about his desire for privacy, was linked to several high-profile relationships. Most notably, he was recently romantically involved with Mallory Edens, a model and the daughter of Milwaukee Bucks' co-owner Wes Edens.

Rodgers was also engaged to actress Shailene Woodley until they called off their engagement in February 2022 and officially ended their relationship that April. Prior to Woodley, he dated actress Olivia Munn and retired NASCAR driver Danica Patrick.

In his 2024 Netflix docuseries, Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, the NFL star opened up about his past high-profile relationships, admitting that his aversion to the public eye hadn't done him any favors in his love life. "I definitely hated it at first — I really despised it," Rodgers confessed about fame. "I enjoyed my private life. I enjoyed being able to go places unnoticed. But after becoming a Super Bowl MVP, MVP, and appearing in State Farm commercials, things became a lot more challenging."
