Abbey eagerly anticipates bringing home a few golden statues to celebrate "with a refreshing glass of wine in hand." She quipped, "We'll all indulge, raise a toast, and party the night away."

Being part of such a groundbreaking show—which has already garnered five Emmys—has profoundly transformed Abbey's life. "Love on the Spectrum shines a light on individuals with autism," she shared passionately. "It gives voice and visibility to so many who have long been overlooked."

Reflecting on a time when autism was misunderstood, Abbey admitted, "I used to feel enraged by my diagnosis. I saw myself as a typical kid, yearning for normalcy." However, after three seasons on the show, she has embraced a sense of belonging. "I'm proud of who I am and how far I've journeyed," she said with conviction.

Moreover, beyond fostering self-acceptance, the show introduced Abbey to the love of her life, David Isaacman, her boyfriend of four years. During season three, Abbey serenaded David with her heartfelt song "Boyfriend Forever." "It meant the world to him," Abbey said of the tune, which celebrates their unique bond despite their differing autism experiences. "It's a testament to my desire for him to be my eternal boyfriend."

While marriage isn't on the horizon for the couple, they feel "married at heart." Abbey credits David, 30, with helping her gain a deeper understanding and acceptance of herself. "He makes me feel cherished for who I am today," she concluded warmly.
