"David and I decided to call each other 'best friends,' not boyfriend and girlfriend anymore," Abbey said. When asked how it feels to be "a single woman," she added, "Being a single lady, like what Beyoncè says, it feels amazing. I've grown and changed a lot over the past four and a half years."

For those who may not be aware, Abbey and David called it quits on April 10, 2026, after nearly five years of dating. "Abbey and David spent four and a half years together and truly value the time they shared and each other," a joint statement from the former couple and their families told People magazine at the time. "At this point, they want different things and have decided to go their separate ways, but they remain friends, wishing each other the best."

It's worth noting that Abbey and David met in the first season of the reality show "Love on the Spectrum" in 2021. Their journey from meeting on the show to their eventual breakup has been a rollercoaster ride, but it seems that they're handling it with maturity and respect for one another.
