Before you don your headphones, brace yourself for Addison Rae's message to her critics. The "Fame is a Gun" singer made her performance debut at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where she unleashed a few choice words for her detractors.
"To my fans who have supported me from Day 1, I love you, thank you," Addison said during her April 11 performance, as captured in footage shared on Instagram. "And to my haters? Suck my d--k."

Addison's Coachella performance, which featured her catchy hits, avant-garde fashion looks, and a cameo from Maddie Ziegler, comes after she was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2026 Grammys. Though Olivia Dean ended up taking home the honor, the "Headphones On" singer had an unbothered response when asked if there were any misconceptions about herself she wanted to clear up ahead of the ceremony.
"Honestly, nothing," Addison told E! News at the Feb. 1 event. "I wish they knew less."
As for one trait the "Diet Pepsi" singer was willing to confirm about herself? "I actually drink a lot of Diet Pepsi," she revealed. "It's in all my green rooms. It's probably in my green room now."
Though the 25-year-old isn't interested in explaining herself to her critics, she's been open about her rebrand as an influencer-turned-popstar. "I walked in with a binder, and I made a slideshow," Addison told Rolling Stone in a January 2025 profile. "I just mood-boarded my vibes. I literally had no music to play [Columbia Records CEO Ron Perry] at that point, so it was about trust."
And just like her pop persona, Addison refuses to be put in a box. "People have decided who I am," she told the outlet. "I'll be your girl next door, but maybe there's a wild side to the girl next door."
