Adele was overwhelmed with affection from a fellow musical legend during her latest concert! The 36-year-old singer of "Easy on Me" couldn't hold back her emotions when she spotted Céline Dion in the audience at her Las Vegas residency show on Saturday, October 26th. A fan-posted video on X (formerly Twitter) captured the heartwarming moment where Adele, singing her hit "When We Were Young," approached Dion, 56, who was seated in a VIP box at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

As Adele and Dion embraced for several seconds, tears streamed down Adele's face. The Canadian singer gently held Adele's face in her hands while Adele whispered a few words to her. Dion then kissed Adele's hand, and the British singer waved to those seated nearby before saying a few more words to Dion and walking away to resume her performance.

A closer view of the tender encounter, also shared on X, revealed Adele's tears as she hugged Dion and walked away with her cheeks still damp with tears. Dion, too, appeared deeply moved as she embraced and conversed with her fellow singing icon. Another clip showed Dion sitting back down after her heartfelt moment with Adele, dabbing her own eyes with a tissue.

Dion, the singer of "My Heart Will Go On," seemed to be accompanied by her two sons, Nelson and Eddy Angélil, 14, who comforted their mother after her emotional encounter. One clip on X also showed Adele walking away from Dion, continuing to sing "When We Were Young" while wiping her tear-stained face.

The emotional reunion in Vegas marked a full-circle moment for the two powerhouse singers, as Adele had previously attended Dion's concert at the same theater a few years ago. In January 2018, Adele visited Dion backstage after her performance at the Colosseum during Dion's second Vegas residency. Dion posted on Instagram after meeting Adele, expressing her thrill at Adele's attendance despite missing some of her own shows. Adele, a superfan, also posted on Instagram about the experience, calling Dion the queen and praising her show as a highlight of her life.

The British singer has been a long-time admirer of Dion, even revealing in a 2021 Vogue 73 Questions video that her "proudest possession" is a framed piece of Dion's gum. Adele explained, "It's pretty amazing. James Corden, who's a friend of mine and does Carpool Karaoke, did one with her. He knew how much of a fan I was of her, so he made her spit her gum into a piece of paper, and she framed it for me."

Adele is set to conclude her two-year Vegas residency in November. During a concert in Munich in September, the 16-time Grammy winner shared that she plans to take a "long time" away from music after her residency ends. In a TikTok video, Adele told fans onstage, "I have 10 shows left, but after that, I won't see you for an incredibly long time. You'll always hold a special place in my heart."
