On December 11th, a netizen made a post online, asserting that they had supposedly seen Winter and Jungwon together at a trendy whisky bar nestled in the bustling Cheongdam district. In response to these claims, representatives from both their agencies swiftly issued denials.
SM Entertainment, the management company for aespa, issued a statement declaring, "[These rumors] are utterly baseless. The individual who disseminated the photograph approached a media outlet with the sole intention of extracting financial gain, attempting to establish direct communication with us. However, when the outlet declined assistance in reporting such monetarily motivated claims, It appears that the photograph in question has been distributed with malicious intent. We are actively pursuing legal avenues to address this grievous issue with the utmost diligence."
BELIFT LAB, the label overseeing ENHYPEN, echoed a similar stance, stating, "The rumors of a relationship are unequivocally false. BELIFT LAB will not hesitate to take stringent actions against any infringements upon our artists' privacy or the creation and dissemination of malicious falsehoods."
