In a recent exclusive with TMZ Sports, relayed through People magazine, WWE Hall of Fame inductee Jeff Jarrett revealed a heartwarming connection with Grammy Award-winning singer Taylor Swift, whom he has known since her childhood days. Sharing a poignant anecdote, Jarrett disclosed that, prior to his wife's tragic demise from breast cancer, Swift, a 14-time Grammy winner, lent her voice to an intimate, three-hour concert solely for his family and close circle of friends.
Jarrett recounted the magical moment occurring around Christmas 2006, when Swift, who had settled in Hendersonville, Tennessee at a tender age, organized the special performance. Amidst his wife's grave illness, which ultimately claimed her life roughly five months later, Swift's visit brought a ray of sunshine into their lives.
The AEW star narrated how Swift, upon learning of his wife's condition through a mutual friend, spontaneously offered to visit their home. Initially arriving guitar-less, she dashed back to fetch it upon realizing that Jarrett's daughters eagerly anticipated her melodies and strumming. What commenced as an intimate family gathering soon blossomed into a gathering of approximately 45 people, all enchanted by Swift's tunes. Jarrett fondly termed this day an "unforgettable experience."
Recalling the event, Jarrett mentioned, "Taylor played for about three hours straight by the end of the afternoon." Moreover, Jarrett shared that Swift, who once served as a babysitter to his daughters, has steadfastly maintained a bond with his family, bringing immense joy to his little ones.
"This unique relationship that blossomed is truly remarkable," he expressed. "After my wife passed, Taylor was always there for the girls, offering them comfort and companionship."
Swift, a beloved figure in the music industry, recently captured headlines with her engagement to Kansas City Chiefs' tight end Travis Kelce. Additionally, she is set to release her latest album, titled "The Life of a Showgirl," on October 3, promising more musical magic for her fans worldwide.
