Menglong boasted an impressive acting portfolio, including notable works such as *The Legend of the White Snake*, *Love Game in Eastern Family*, and *Go Princess Go*—the latter of which catapulted him to national fame in China. In the wake of his passing, numerous fans took to social media platforms to express their sorrow. One fan shared a poignant message alongside a photo of Menglong on X (formerly known as Twitter), lamenting, "It's so hard for a million different reasons." Another added, "It's truly a tragedy that he passed away in such an unexpected manner. Rest in peace."
Indeed, given that news of Menglong's death was initially reported by local Beijing paparazzi, many of his fans are still grappling with the shocking news. "When I first heard the news, I refused to believe it because I thought it was just a rumor," another fan penned on X. "Yu Menglong, you will be sorely missed."
Menglong's most recent acting credit was a role in an episode of *Feud*, which aired earlier this year.
