Alec Baldwin Nearly Comes to Blows with Trump Impersonator

Published: Feb 25 2025

In a recently circulated Twitter video, a Donald Trump impersonator, Jason Scoop, a prolific online content creator known for his Trump mimicry, crossed a line with Alec Baldwin, escalating into a heated altercation between the duo. The footage captures Scoop approaching Baldwin as the latter is busy loading luggage into a vehicle. Without any preamble, Scoop unleashes a barrage of insults and tasteless humor aimed squarely at Baldwin, ridiculing his Saturday Night Live portrayal of Trump and mockingly pretending to offer him a pardon for the tragic accident on the set of "Rust" in October 2021, where cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was fatally shot — a scenario Scoop crudely describes as "murdering that woman in cold blood."

Having unmistakably arrived at his limit, Baldwin abandoned his initial nonchalance and confronted Scoop directly, their standoff occurring mere steps away from his children's home. His voice, imbued with a menacing chill, echoed ominously: "If this camera weren't here capturing this moment, I'd break your neck without a second thought."

Previously, Baldwin's criminal case stemming from the "Rust" incident concluded towards the end of last year, with the Arizona attorney general’s office announcing its decision not to aggressively pursue further appeals on behalf of the prosecution. Prior to this resolution, Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer had dismissed Baldwin's case in July, ruling that the prosecutor’s office had suppressed vital evidence that could have illuminated how live ammunition found its way onto the film set. Despite this, Hutchins' family has vowed to press ahead with a civil lawsuit against Baldwin and the film's producers, seeking justice for their beloved loss.
