In the caption, she pensively noted, "I play a witch on TV and gave birth on Halloween, yet no enchantment could have adequately prepared me for the magical marvels and daunting challenges of postpartum life. This snapshot captures me six days post-delivery, in all my raw and honest postpartum glory, with my wondrous little miracle."

Earlier on Halloween, Daddario had joyously shared the news of her firstborn with her husband, Andrew Form, via Instagram. The actress has kept her baby's name and gender under wraps for now.
Daddario also serves as a stepmother to Form's two children, Rowan and Julian, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Jordana Brewster.
