Alix Earle's journey with the Unwell Network has concluded amidst swirling rumors of a rift between her and Alex Cooper. A recent Variety report, sourced from insiders, reveals that Cooper's brainchild, the Unwell Network, has severed ties with Earle's popular podcast, 'Hot Mess.' The outlet disclosed that the network has relinquished all claims to 'Hot Mess,' paving the way for Earle to venture into new opportunities unfettered. Consequently, SiriusXM has ceased advertising for the show.

The Unwell Network operates under Tending, a media venture co-founded by Cooper and her husband, Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment. Representatives for both Cooper and Earle have been approached by PEOPLE for comment on the matter.

Speculations about a possible falling out between the two influencers have been rife among fans, particularly since Earle was notably absent from an Unwell Super Bowl bash held in New Orleans earlier in February. Social media snapshots from the event depicted Hallie Batchelder, host of 'Extra Dirty,' and Grace O'Malley, a recent Unwell Network signee after departing Barstool Sports, among the attendees.

Meanwhile, Earle, who documents her daily escapades on TikTok, shared numerous videos chronicling her New Orleans adventures, including dining with her boyfriend, Braxton Barrios, and socializing with friends. She was also in attendance at the 2025 Super Bowl festivities.

Earle was among the pioneering talents to embark on the Unwell Network's journey when it debuted in August 2023. Upon her and Madeline Argy's signing, Cooper expressed her honor to be at a career juncture where she could impart knowledge and guidance to foster a new generation of creators.

A year later, Cooper inked a deal with SiriusXM to expand the network's horizons, introducing Unwell Music and Unwell On Air. As 'Hot Mess' embarked on its second season in September, Earle welcomed her sister, Ashtin, as a co-host. "I was eager to elevate 'Hot Mess's' overall vibe for Season 2, and after Ashtin co-hosted a few episodes with me, I knew our collaboration could achieve just that," Earle revealed to V Magazine about the fresh addition. Earle's most recent podcast episode hit the airwaves on February 19.
