Amanda Bynes has revealed that she is joining OnlyFans as a means to reconnect with her devoted supporters. In a vibrant Instagram Stories video posted on Tuesday, she exclaimed, "I'm now part of OnlyFans!" Accompanied by a charming selfie, she continued, "Just a heads-up: I'm diving into OnlyFans to engage in heartfelt chats with my fans via direct messages. No risqué content, I promise. I'm thrilled to be part of this community."
Recently, OnlyFans, a platform known for its exclusive subscriber content, often associated with sexual themes, has welcomed celebrities like Denise Richards, Cardi B, Kate Nash, and Lily Allen into its fold.
Bynes herself has been making waves recently. In January, she stole the spotlight at a 50 Cent concert in Las Vegas, and in December, she co-hosted an art exhibition and clothing pop-up event with designer Austin Babbitt in West Hollywood, California. As a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Bynes designed pieces specifically for the show.
Her former co-star from The Amanda Show, Drake Bell, also showered her with praise last month. On the Good Guys podcast, he remarked, "She could very well have been Rachel on Friends." He recounted, "To me, she was once the brightest star shining across the world." He further shared that working with her on The Amanda Show was a delight. "She was fantastic then, she's still fantastic, and she's such a wonderful person," he enthused. "Despite her public struggles, I believe she possesses one of the kindest hearts and most exceptional skills and talents out there."
Since stepping away from acting, Bynes's public appearances have been sparse. She began her career as a child actress, featuring in shows like All That and What I Like About You. Her cinematic credits include She's the Man, What a Girl Wants, Hairspray, and her final acting role in Easy A in 2010.
Starting from her teenage years, Bynes battled substance abuse and was under conservatorship from 2013 to 2022.
