Seann William Scott is meticulously scrutinizing his bank statements amidst an ongoing legal battle with his ex-wife, Olivia Korenberg. According to court documents procured by various media outlets, the "American Pie" star submitted an income and expense declaration on August 18th, providing a detailed glimpse into his monthly financial flow.
In these documents, Seann, who shares a five-year-old daughter named Frankie Rose with the interior designer, revealed that he earns an average of $110,000 per month. Additionally, he pockets roughly $45,000 in royalties and $31,000 in dividends/interest payments monthly.
Meanwhile, the actor, who has recently appeared on TV shows such as "Shifting Gears," "The Righteous Gemstones," and "Lethal Weapon," estimated his monthly expenses to total nearly $60,000. This figure includes approximately $15,000 in property taxes, $5,000 in repairs, $2,500 on groceries, and $1,500 on clothing purchases.
The 48-year-old's filing also unveiled a vast financial portfolio comprising $158,000 in cash and checking/savings accounts, over $12.2 million invested in stocks and bonds, and over $18.7 million worth of property, encompassing three homes in Los Angeles. He further listed assets such as a Mini Cooper hatchback valued at $30,000, a Honda Passport SUV worth $55,000, furniture appraised at $171,000, and artwork estimated at $93,000.
However, Seann's wealth wasn't always so plentiful. In March 2022, he reminisced about earning just $8,000 for the first "American Pie" movie in 1999, noting that it was "a lot of money for me at the time." "I remember afterwards, I bought a used Thunderbird for $5,000 or maybe $6,000, and I thought, 'Oh yeah, baby,'" he recalled on "The Rich Eisen Show" in 2022. "I'm not sure what happened to the other $2,000 because I ended up having to work at the LA Zoo selling churros, so maybe it was even less than $8,000."
Despite the coming-of-age comedy proving to be a resounding success, spawning three theatrical sequels and five spin-off films, Seann admitted that he would be hesitant to revisit the raunchy franchise again. "It would have to be a perfect idea," he explained on the "Inside of You" podcast in July 2023. "Comedies have evolved so much that the movie would have to change, adapt, and be more relatable. So, we'll see."
