Anne Hathaway, the star of "Devil Wears Prada 2," recently sat down with Harper's Bazaar to open up about the delicate balance she strives for in her career and personal life, particularly as a mother of two. The 43-year-old actress, who is a mother to two sons, Jack and Jonathan, shared that before becoming a mother, her focus was "uncompromising and uninterrupted." However, once she became a mom, things took a bit of a different turn.

"Before, there was this unwavering focus that didn't have any interruptions," she reminisced. "But now, with kids, life is a constant ebb and flow."
Hathaway continued, "My friends and I often discuss this, and we actually feel quite defeated by the notion of balance. If one aspect of life takes precedence, you have to compensate for it on the other side, and that just winds us up instead of making us steady."
Instead of striving for balance, Hathaway and her friends have adopted a new approach: forgiveness. "We seek to harmonize our lives," she added.
