Ariana Grande's decision to embrace her brunette hue may have been a permanent one, as evidenced by her recent Instagram debut of her new 'do. Just a week after the transformation, the Wicked: For Good actress seemed to confirm that she's bid adieu to Glinda the Good Witch's blonde tresses—a look she sported since 2022—and that her fresh brunette mane is here to stay.
During a November 6 appearance on French talk show Le Quotidien, Ariana sat beside costars Cynthia Erivo and Jonathan Bailey, with her signature ponytail absent. Instead, she styled her brunette hair down and draped over her shoulders, exuding a newfound sophistication.
But Ariana's transformation didn't stop at her hair. While working on Wicked, she and Cynthia each acquired multiple matching tattoos, including one on the palms of their hands. "Well, we each got the 'For Good's," Ariana teased on Le Quotidien, before adding cheekily, "We have one that we can't show. Well, we have two we can't show." Jonathan, eager to join in on the fun, pointed to his chest and quipped, "I've just got Ari here and Cynthia there."
However, Ariana emphasized that the bonds she forged with her costars will outlast any hair dye or tattoo. "We're thankfully stuck with each other for the rest of our lives," Ariana continued. "These characters have had such a beautiful impact on all of us, on our lives. But the most impactful thing has been being able to create these movies with people that we love so much and artists we respect so much."
"Being able to do that has been such an honor and a once-in-a-lifetime experience," she added. "So, no. No one is leaving each other." Cynthia agreed, chiming in, "We're not leaving each other."
