Amidst a swirl of ongoing speculation that the "Elvis" star and the supermodel might be romantically involved, the pair was spotted getting intimate over drinks at New York City’s iconic Wavery Inn bar on September 5.
In photos obtained by TMZ, the duo could be seen snuggled up together in a booth, with Austin, 34, casually resting his arm atop the backrest. While he kept it laid-back in a classic white T-shirt, Emily, also 34, exuded elegance in a sleek black strapless top as she sipped her martini. This isn’t the first instance where Austin and Emily have sparked relationship gossip. In fact, their latest rendezvous comes just over a week after they were seen together at an afterparty for the NYC premiere of Austin’s new movie, "Caught Stealing."
Although the two have remained tight-lipped about their relationship status, Austin has found himself at the center of the romance rumor mill. Earlier this month, he was seen dining with a mysterious woman on a sunlit balcony in a video that went viral on social media. While many speculated that his unnamed companion was TikToker Hailey Kalil—known as Haleyybaylee on the platform—she has since squashed the rumors.
"It's not me, but I wish it was," the influencer, who was previously married to NFL star Matt Kalil, told TMZ on September 4. "Austin, my DMs are open." Indeed, when they previously crossed paths at the New York City "Caught Stealing" premiere, Haley posted a video of Austin walking past her on the red carpet, quipping in the Instagram caption, “@austinbutler has no idea I even exist.”
Prior to being seen with the mystery woman, it was reported in January that the "Zoey 101" alum and model Kaia Gerber had parted ways after three years of dating. However, the "Bikeriders" star has consistently made it clear that he prefers to keep his love life out of the public eye.
"I go, ‘If I don’t see the picture, then it doesn’t really exist to me,’" he told GQ in 2022, shortly after he and Kaia were photographed on a date together.
