Bebe Rexha has recently lashed out at critics who subjected her to body-shaming over her appearance at the Met Gala. The American singer-songwriter disclosed that she had suffered a miscarriage following the barrage of negative remarks about her weight at this year's event. On May 6, the 35-year-old tweeted, via E! News (though the tweet has since been deleted), "I'm so tired of people commenting on my weight."

The Grammy nominee elaborated, "I battle with PCOS and infertility," as she recounted her struggles with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). She continued, "I conceived, but it didn't take, and I've been silently bearing that agony." This was the first time the vocalist had publicly addressed her pregnancy loss.

Bebe's comments emerged a day after her debut at the Met Gala on May 5 in New York City. The singer posted several snaps of her Christian Siriano ensemble on social media, which accentuated her curves and her alluring physique.

Furthermore, Bebe Rexha struck back at rapper Azealia Banks, who mocked her weight. The singer directly responded to the rapper's criticisms on X, previously known as Twitter, about her Met Gala red carpet appearance. Azealia posted a picture of Bebe from the Met Gala on Monday, remarking, "Sis gives me—hormonal birth control implant vibes or something."

The 'Home' crooner didn't mince her words and fired back strongly, saying, "And you might want to consider some form of therapy, sis. Lexapro worked wonders for me." "It helps alleviate the deep-seated sadness and chaos you keep emitting. Healing suits everyone. Give it a try," penned Bebe, adding a touch of empathy and advice to her fiery reply.
