Bella Hadid's devoted fans stood by her side. After the model graced the runway during the 2025 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on October 15, a social media user expressed their concern in a TikTok video posted on October 16, asking, "Bella Hadid, what the f--k is wrong with you? What do we gotta do?"

In response, the 29-year-old left a heartfelt comment on the clip, explaining why she didn't appear to be at her best. "Girl, I got my period that morning," she wrote, "and my stamina is not up yet after the whole hospital sitch."
Indeed, Bella walked the runway just weeks after her hospitalization in September, sharing photos of herself hooked up to IVs and wearing an oxygen mask on Instagram at the time. "I tried my best and I LOVEEEE you for this," Bella told the video creator. "I'm okay I swear. I'm sorry if I let you down. Love you I mean it."
During her hospitalization, Bella did not disclose the exact reason for her treatment. However, her mother Yolanda Hadid alluded to her daughter's Lyme disease diagnosis, dubbing her a "Lyme warrior" in a comment on her Instagram post.
One day later, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum—who also lives with the tick-borne illness—elaborated further on Bella's struggle with the condition, describing her daughter's "countless setbacks." "There simply aren't words big enough for the darkness, the pain, and the unknown hell you've lived through since your diagnosis in 2013," Yolanda wrote on Instagram. "You didn't really live; you learned how to exist inside the jail of your own paralyzed brain."
Despite Bella's challenges, Yolanda remained optimistic about her continued recovery. "This disease has brought us to our knees, but we always get back up," she continued. "We will continue to fight for better days, together."
