BFFs Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have embarked on a thrilling new adventure. The dynamic duo, who brought us cinematic gems like "Good Will Hunting" and "Air," have locked horns with writer-director Joe Carnahan for their next collaboration, a pulse-pounding thriller titled "RIP" exclusively for Netflix.

Details surrounding the plot and its release date remain shrouded in mystery, adding to the intrigue. This film will be shepherded by Artists Equity, the innovative studio founded by Affleck and Damon in 2022, which boasts an impressive lineup of projects including "Small Things Like These" starring Cillian Murphy, a sequel to "The Accountant," and Jennifer Lopez-led films "Unstoppable" and "Kiss of the Spider Woman."

The inseparable Affleck and Damon have a long-standing tradition of collaborative brilliance, commencing with their Oscar-winning screenplay for "Good Will Hunting" in 1997. They reunited on the silver screen for Ridley Scott's historical drama "The Last Duel," alongside Jodie Comer and Adam Driver, and most recently for the sports drama "Air," where Affleck also helmed the director's chair.

Damon's recent credits include a stellar performance in Christopher Nolan's Oscar-winning "Oppenheimer" and Ethan Coen's "Drive-Away Dolls." His next endeavor will see him share the screen with Affleck's brother, Casey, in the comedic heist film "The Instigators."
