Ben Affleck recently brought attention to a rapidly rising star who has undeniably captured Hollywood's attention. During a discussion about his Netflix thriller "The Rip," Affleck revealed that even Leonardo DiCaprio has been quietly raving about Teyana Taylor's talents.

When promoting "The Rip," Affleck shared candid conversations he had with fellow actors and filmmakers, not on red carpets or press junkets, but in private settings. Affleck emphasized that these were "informal conversations, not in front of a camera or anything," the kind where people feel free to speak their minds without being diplomatic. DiCaprio's comments stood out for their genuine enthusiasm. Affleck said, "She's really the opposite of that, and she blows people away," conveying that Taylor's talent makes a strong impression on even the most seasoned actors.

Affleck's "The Rip" co-star Matt Damon also spoke highly of Taylor. Damon called her "so professional, so great, just a really, really good person," and reflected on her talents beyond acting. He pointed out her Grammy nomination and the multifaceted career she's carved out. "She's clearly somebody with a lot to say and a lot to give. I mean, she's nominated for a Grammy as well. She's just so unbelievably talented with this kind of ambition to put herself out there in so many ways. It's just great to see her acknowledged," Damon said.

Teyana Taylor didn't achieve fame overnight; she put in the work early. At just 15, she secured her first record deal and never slowed down after that. Soon enough, she was rubbing shoulders with the elite, teaming up with Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Kanye West, and even handling choreography for Beyoncé's "Ring the Alarm" video. In terms of acting, she was featured in films like "Stomp the Yard: Homecoming" and "Madea's Big Happy Family." By 2023, her standout role in "A Thousand and One" officially stamped her as one to watch in Hollywood.
