Benedict Cumberbatch has made a surprising confession about his children's future education, revealing in a recent chat with the Daily Mail why he doesn't want his three sons to attend boarding school, despite his own experience at one of the most prestigious institutions in the UK.

As fans are well aware, Cumberbatch, 49, who shares sons Christopher, Hal, and Finn with his wife, theatre director Sophie Hunter, is a former student of Harrow School in Greater London, where annual fees reach into the thousands. However, according to the actor, boarding school is not in the cards for his boys.
"Not unless they really want to, but no way," he firmly stated. "And Sophie feels the same. Selfishly, I want them around – I still want to be there, in case the call comes, when the fall happens, I wanna be there."
Despite his stance, Cumberbatch didn't dismiss the value of his own schooling at Harrow. He went on to praise the historic school, whose notable alumni include Winston Churchill, James Blunt, and Lord Byron, saying it offered "amazing facilities and a very structured timetable."
