Benny Blanco, the Grammy-winning artist, can't resist sharing his every move with the world. His latest venture, a multimedia podcast series with his friend Lil Dicky and wife Kristin Batalucco, premiered on February 24th, igniting a wave of reactions across the internet. However, the spotlight was inevitably drawn to a less-than-savory aspect of the show: Benny's dirty feet.
In the opening of the premiere episode of "Friends Keep Secrets," Benny, who tied the knot with Selena Gomez in September, sat on the couch, chatting with his cohosts about how the new interview series should not be referred to as a podcast. As he leaned back, he lifted his legs onto the cushions, revealing the soles of his feet, which were covered in black dirt and dust.

While some viewers commented that they couldn't stop laughing at the crew's discussion about the size of Lil Dicky's bulge, how to cook using a cookbook, the color of their teeth, and ideal future guests, others couldn't help but comment on Benny's hygiene.
"Good podcast, wash your feet, Benny," one fan wrote in the comments section on YouTube. Another added, "Those dawgs need to be hosed down." Meanwhile, one viewer shared on X, "The year is 2026 but Benny blanco is still stuck in the Stone Age."
Prior to the controversy over his dirty feet—which currently have three out of five stars on the foot-focused website wikiFeet—Benny had shared what prompted him to enter the podcast space with Lil Dicky and Kristin.
"For all the Andrew Tates and terrible people in this world, I saw an opening because I love hanging out with my friends," Benny told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published on February 24th. "And it just so happens that my two best friends are the funniest people that I know and maybe the funniest people in the world." The 37-year-old added, "And we have such an eclectic group of friends, so sometimes the person that we're talking to is going to be my mother and sometimes it's going to be Selena Gomez."
