Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s love burns brighter than their Bluest Flame, warming hearts since their star-studded wedding in Santa Barbara, California, just seven weeks ago. They proved their love song-like affection by sharing a tasty date night, captured in a picture posted on his Instagram Story on November 11. The image features a plate overflowing with oysters and shrimp chilled on ice, accompanied by dipping sauces and other garnishes. In the corner of the snap, Selena’s hand reaches out to the sumptuous spread, grabbing a slice of lemon.

Alongside the pic, Benny simply wrote, “Date night.” Despite keeping their dinner date simple, the music producer—who received his and Selena’s first joint Grammy nomination for their track “Bluest Flame” on November 7—shared last year how he and his wife plan their nights out. “I go all out for every date. We go all out for each other,” Benny told People in their Sexiest Man Alive issue in November 2024. “One time Sel was like, ‘Oh, I want to take you on a date.’ We drove somewhere, and she had rented out a whole botanical garden for me.”
The 36-year-old noted that they also enjoy keeping it low-key, adding, “She also likes something so simple. For Valentine’s Day, I got her Taco Bell, I made her movie-theater nachos, I found her favorite pickles from Texas and I deep-fried them for her. Then [I had] all her candies and Hot Cheetos.” Regardless of how their date nights look, Benny gushed about his most cherished moment of each day with his wife. “I’m a real morning person,” he shared. “It’s my favorite time to spend with Sel, because we both wake up really early. It’s like our moment before the rest of the world wakes up.”
Benny continued, “I have a true best friend that I get to do everything in the world with, and every day is the best day of my life.” Their love story is as tasty as their date night, filled with moments of pure joy and cherished memories.
