The Florida-based Orlando branch of Madame Tussauds wax museum recently unveiled a life-like wax sculpture of Beyoncé, painstakingly crafted to mirror her latest "Cowboy Carter" persona. Much to the disappointment of her legions of fans, however, the statue's unveiling sparked a flurry of comments highlighting several discrepancies in its portrayal of the 43-year-old music icon. Here's a closer look at how Beyoncé's devotees responded to her Madame Tussauds wax figure.

Madame Tussauds excitedly shared a snapshot of their Beyoncé waxwork, inspired by her "Cowboy Carter" era, on Instagram, captioning it, "This ain't Texas...but Beyoncé just arrived in Orlando!" The statue showcased Beyoncé donning a stylish black hat, her platinum blonde locks flowing, and clad in a striking red and blue denim jacket adorned with white streaks, paired with a white Willie Nelson T-shirt, denim shorts, and bold American flag-themed boots.

Yet, fans couldn't help but notice the statue's less-than-perfect resemblance to the real "Cowboy Carter." Their reactions poured onto the internet, with one fan querying, "Why does she look like lil mama?" while another remarked, "Megan Thee Stallion," mistaking the wax figure for the "Hot Girl Summer" hitmaker. Others批评 Madame Tussauds for failing to capture Beyoncé's essence, pointing out flaws in the statue's facial features, particularly the eyes. "Why y’all can't never get this lady right," lamented one fan, while another expressed dissatisfaction with the figure's body.

Despite these criticisms, there were also numerous accolades for Madame Tussauds' efforts in crafting the Beyoncé wax figure. The museum announced a special one-night-only event at Ole Red Orlando on March 29, where fans could celebrate the statue's debut before it officially went on display at the wax museum the following day, March 30.

Elsewhere, Beyoncé has been grabbing headlines due to Kanye West's recent online tirade against her and Jay-Z's youngest children, Rumi and Sir. Reports suggest that she and her music mogul spouse are contemplating legal action against the controversial Donda rapper, weighing their options between handling the matter privately or in court.
