Bianca Censori admits Kanye West first reached out to her while still married to Kim Kardashian

How could he be so unfeeling? Bianca Censori, in a shocking interview with Vanity Fair, revealed that she and Kanye West began their conversation during the rapper's marriage to Kim Kardashian. In the interview published on Friday, Censori explained that West's general manager reached out to her after the Grammy winner saw her post a "digital mask with alien proportions" on Instagram.

The 31-year-old and the songwriter subsequently met in Switzerland during the COVID-19 pandemic, with Censori becoming the head of architecture at his brand Yeezy. Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage and four children together. The outlet noted that Censori and West were falling in love "around the same general period."

Censori attributed their connection to their "proximity" while "just working together" at Yeezy. "You're spending so much time with somebody," she recalled. "So we'd be either on the phone together or with each other all the time."

"You've got to see it," Censori continued of their bond. "We're so similar." Kardashian did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment.

West and Censori tied the knot in December 2022, one month after the groom and Kardashian, 45, settled their divorce. "I didn't marry my husband because I wanted some sort of platform," Censori insisted to the magazine. "I married him because I love him. Is that, like, the corniest thing ever?"

She admitted to debating leaving her marriage due to West's recent scandals, including selling swastika T-shirts, but ultimately called these temptations "surface level." Censori helped West, 48, seek help at rehab last year, and the performer issued a public apology for his antisemitism in January. Censori teared up describing this.

"All I can do is always just be there and help," she said. "This year was a lot like doing CPR for months. I have the love and empathy for him to be able to do that, and I understand that the world doesn't."

Elsewhere in the interview, she praised West as a "great dad" to her stepkids - North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 6 - and gushed over wanting children of her own one day.
