Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki have reunited—this time, for an exhilarating advertisement. The former "Big Bang Theory" costars, who sparked off-screen romance during the show's nascent seasons, have come together once again to promote the Royal Kingdom mobile app. Sharing the ad on her Instagram, Cuoco captioned, "Game Night with @sanctionedjohnnygalecki just reached new heights thanks to @royalkingdom!" She further added in the comments, "It was such a blast to shoot! Back in action with my buddy JG!" Galecki echoed similar sentiments on his own post, writing, "Game night with @kaleycuoco has undergone a remarkable transformation, all thanks to @royalkingdom. When they approached me to endorse Royal Kingdom, I couldn't believe it because I've genuinely played over TEN THOUSAND LEVELS of Royal Match, and Royal Kingdom is equally mesmerizing. P.S., I only endorse what I truly believe in. Give it a shot!"
In the广告, Galecki strolls into Cuoco's house, where she has meticulously arranged a spread of board games and snacks. However, he promptly interrupts her setup by showcasing the Royal Kingdom app, tossing her board games out the window. "Those are my games!" Cuoco exclaims in protest.
But after a few swipes on Galecki's phone, Cuoco is instantly captivated by the puzzle game. "Oh wow, this is fun, you're absolutely right. We don't need these other games," she remarks.
Galecki highlights that the game is free, prompting Cuoco to hurl her credit cards out the window. "Don't need these anymore!" she declares. He further notes that the app doesn't require WiFi and is ad-free, inspiring Cuoco to chuck her internet router and TV out the door as well. "Is that an overreaction?" she queries.
"Maybe," Galecki responds with a chuckle. "But this game is incredible."
Galecki, who portrayed Caltech physicist Leonard Hofstadter on the series, and Cuoco, who played his neighbor Penny, previously reflected on their relationship in "The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story of the Epic Hit Series." Cuoco shared in an excerpt published in Vanity Fair, "I had a massive crush on Johnny early on. We were both seeing other people at the time, but I could only see Johnny. When I found out he felt the same way, I thought, Uh-oh, this is going to be tricky."
However, Galecki was oblivious to his costar's feelings. "I have a healthy ego, but you really have to hit me over the head to let me know you're flirting with me," he admits. "I had no clue about any crush before we started dating."
Their bond solidified while filming a dream sequence in season 1, where Leonard saves Penny in an elevator shaft. "I think we fell a little in love in that elevator shaft," Cuoco reminisces.
"We felt something, yeah," Galecki concurs. "I believe that was a pivotal moment in our relationship. At that point, both of us realized that ignoring our mutual feelings would be more distracting than acknowledging and embracing them."
Despite ending their relationship around 2010, the former costars remain on excellent terms. "He was front row at both of my weddings, and we've been incredibly supportive of each other ever since," Cuoco says, referring to her marriages to Ryan Sweeting and Karl Cook. "We adore each other." Galecki agrees, "We continue to love one another, just in different ways."
