Jordon Hudson has delivered a playful rejoinder to accusations hinting at her possibly being a rather frivolous friend. The girlfriend of legendary coach Bill Belichick is embracing a whimsical approach to their romance, having submitted a trademark application for the term "gold digger." According to documents accessed by E! News, TCE Rights Management—a firm overseen by Jordon—lodged the application on August 25th. The 24-year-old intends to utilize this phrase on jewelry and key chains, adding a touch of humor to her bond with the ex-New England Patriots helmsman.
This latest trademark endeavor follows a flurry of similar filings made by the duo just four months prior, which centered around Bill's coaching legacy. These include phrases like "Chapel Bill (Bill’s Version)," "Do Your Job (Bill’s Version)," and "All-Belichick Team," among others, all in reference to his storied career—now continued as head coach of the University of North Carolina's football team. These applications are currently awaiting examination.
E! News reached out to Jordon's representatives for comment, but as of yet, no response has been received.
Since going public with their relationship in 2022, Jordon, a former Bridgewater State University cheerleader, and Bill, who first met in 2021, have openly shared every facet of their life together, including their 49-year age difference. They seem unperturbed by the嘲讽 aimed their way, such as the jesting delivered by comedian Shane Gillis at the 2025 ESPY Awards in July.
During his monologue, Shane quipped, "A bookie is what Bill Belichick reads to his girlfriend before bedtime," proceeding to enumerate fictional titles like "The Very Horny Caterpillar," "The Little Engine That Could But Needed a Pill First," and "Goodnight Boobs," poking fun at their age disparity.
However, Shane was quick to clarify that his jokes were meant solely for entertainment. "Also, I’m not trashing Bill Belichick," he added. "First off, he’s 73 years old and he’s dating a hot 24-year-old, and people are criticizing him? What happened to this country? We used to be a great country."
Despite the detractors, Bill, who has three grown children with his ex-wife Debby Clarke, stands firm in his commitment to Jordon. "I've never been too worried about what everybody else thinks," he told CBS Sunday Morning in April. "Just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what's right."
