Billie Eilish Calls Elon Musk ‘Pathetic’ Over Trillion-Dollar Pay Package, Doubling Down On Viral Billionaire Criticism

On Thursday, Billie Eilish, the 23-year-old singer behind the hit "Bad Guy," unleashed a fiery rebuke against the "pathetic" multibillionaire status of Elon Musk, using a string of expletives via her Instagram Stories. She reposted a series of slides that My Voice My Choice Org had originally shared, detailing how the 54-year-old Tesla founder could use his wealth to address various global issues, from ending world hunger to saving endangered species.

Eilish's subsequent post saw her dub Musk a "f—king pathetic p—y bitch coward." Forbes reported last month that Musk had become the first person to reach a $500 billion net worth. The slides suggested that if Musk donated $40 billion a year, he could potentially end world hunger by 2030, or save 10,443 critically endangered species with annual donations of $1-2 billion. Additionally, the organization hypothesized that Musk could rebuild Gaza for $53.2 billion.

Musk's representative did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment. Eilish's attack on the billionaire is not new; in recent weeks, she has also taken issue with other wealthy individuals. In October, during her acceptance speech at the WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards, Eilish made headlines for her scathing remarks about billionaire tech founder Mark Zuckerberg.

As she addressed the gathering of power players including Hailey Bieber, George Lucas, and Karlie Kloss, Eilish questioned why billionaires didn't give away their exorbitant wealth. "We're in a time right now where the world is really, really bad and really dark and people need empathy and help more than ever, especially in our country," she said. "If you're a billionaire, why are you a billionaire? No hate, but yeah, give your money away, shorties." Many in the audience laughed and clapped at her suggestion — but Zuckerberg did not, according to one source.

Eilish made sure to walk the talk, too. At the ceremony, Stephen Colbert announced that she had donated $11.5 million from her "Hit Me Hard and Soft" tour proceeds to "organizations, projects, and voices dedicated to food equity, climate justice, reducing carbon pollution, and combating the climate crisis."
