Billie Eilish is embarking on a new managerial chapter, as exclusively revealed by The Hollywood Reporter. The global music sensation has tapped seasoned talent manager Jason Owen, whose Sandbox Entertainment roster boasts stars like Kacey Musgraves and Kelsea Ballerini, to helm her career. Owen will also oversee Eilish's brother and long-time collaborator, Finneas, who serves as her producer.

For the past decade, Eilish and Finneas have been represented by Danny Rukasin and Brandon Goodman of Best Friends Music Management. These two tastemakers played an instrumental role in catapulting Eilish from viral fame to an award-laden career, witnessing her surpass 100 million Spotify subscribers and rack up a series of top 10 hits, including chart-toppers like "Bad Guy," "Everything I Wanted," "Therefore I Am," and "Birds of a Feather."

Owen, a veteran music executive with deep roots in the country genre, founded Sandbox Entertainment in 2010 after holding high-level positions at Universal Music Nashville. He has since expanded his influence into television, film, and Broadway, contributing to projects such as the 2023 documentary June about June Carter Cash, the stage sensation Shucked, and the primetime drama Monarch. Among his numerous accolades are Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Awards, but it's his exceptional talent for managing female artists that truly sets him apart in the industry, transcending his Nashville origins.

Eilish first captured the public's attention in 2015 with her viral hit "Ocean Eyes," penned by her brother Finneas. By 2019, she had cemented her status as a global superstar with her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, which swept the Grammys the following year, earning her titles such as Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year. Since then, she has remained one of the most influential voices in music, clinching another Grammy for Record of the Year in 2021 for "Everything I Wanted." Her subsequent albums, Happier Than Ever and Hit Me Hard and Soft, continued her reign of success, spawning hits such as "Happier Than Ever," "Therefore I Am," "Birds of a Feather," and "Lunch."

Both albums were nominated for Album of the Year, while "Happier Than Ever" and "Birds of a Feather" were also nominated for Record and Song of the Year. In total, Eilish boasts nine Grammys from 32 nominations, while Finneas has garnered 10 wins from 21 nominations. Together, they also won two Oscars in 2022 and 2024 for Best Original Song for "No Time to Die" from the Bond film of the same name and "What Was I Made For" from Barbie. Finneas is renowned for his work with Eilish, co-writing and producing most of her songs, but he has also collaborated with artists like Justin Bieber, Tate McRae, Halsey, and Selena Gomez. He recently co-wrote and co-produced "Scared of Loving You," the lead single from Gomez and Benny Blanco's collaborative album I Said I Love You First. Finneas has also released two solo albums: Optimist in 2021 and For Cryin' Out Loud! last year.

Within Eilish's team, there is a bittersweet sense of parting, but there remains immense respect and appreciation for the unparalleled successes, milestones, and cherished memories shared with Rukasin and Goodman. Currently, Eilish is gearing up for the European leg of her Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour, which is set to kick off in Stockholm next month.
