Elsewhere in the carousel of images, the couple offered a glimpse into their romantic journey, sharing a clip of their scenic helicopter ride to the secluded proposal spot, as well as a video capturing Finneas dropping to one knee to ask the life-changing question. Claudia, 29, confirmed in her caption that the proposal had actually taken place two days prior to her sharing the news, with a heartfelt note: “forever and ever 9.22.”
And it appears the date holds profound significance for the lovebirds. Exactly three years earlier on that very day, Finneas, 28, had penned an anniversary post reflecting on his relationship with the YouTuber up to that juncture. “You’d have to scour the globe to try to find someone equally as talented, creative, and hardworking as you are, my love,” he wrote on Instagram in September 2022. “Then you’d have to embark on that search a second time to try to find someone as kind, thoughtful, and generous.” But the Grammy winner (whose full name is Finneas O'Connell) didn't stop there. “A third time to find someone as funny, a fourth to find someone as loving, a fifth to find someone as beautiful,” he continued. “How you manage to embody all these qualities simultaneously will forever be the enigma that is you.”
