Billy Ray Cyrus, brimming with fatherly pride, took to Instagram on March 25 to celebrate a monumental milestone in his daughters' lives. As Miley and Noah embarked on exciting new musical journeys, the 63-year-old veteran singer of "Achy Breaky Heart" penned an emotional tribute that resonated with heartfelt sincerity.
"Goodness gracious! Rarely do I utter an oath in my posts, but this occasion warrants an exception! You're privy to a Dad's real-time emotional rollercoaster, kicked in the butt and mind blown, not by one, but by both of his daughters within a span of less than a week," Billy Ray penned, tagging Miley, 32, and Noah, 25.
The country crooner's post showcased a captivating snapshot of Miley, released earlier in the week to promote her upcoming album, 'Something Beautiful', alongside a still from Noah's newly released "Don't Put It All on Me" music video, which premiered on March 19.
"Flesh and blood... they're elevating their artistry to uncharted heights. Congratulations, girls! Bravo!" Billy Ray's post continued. "I'm incredibly proud of both of you. I'm actually tearing up as I type this. Thank heavens you can't see me. Enjoy yourselves and stay happy! With all my love, Dad," he concluded his heartfelt note.
Last month, Noah posted a celebratory message on the occasion of her father's recent single, "Lost," marking her first public acknowledgment of Billy Ray since her brother Trace Cyrus hinted at familial estrangement.
"So proud of my Dad's incredible new single 'Lost,' featuring my good, old friends [Sam Tinnesz] and [Tommee Profitt]," she penned, adorning it with two red hearts.
"Lost" marked Billy Ray's first release following his controversial performance at President Donald Trump's inauguration on January 20, marred by technical difficulties.
After the performance, Trace, 35, penned an open letter expressing concern for Billy Ray, who is also the father of Brandi, 37, Braison, 30, with his ex-wife Tish Cyrus, and son Christopher, 32.
"My sisters and I have been genuinely worried about you for years, but you've pushed us away," Trace wrote. "Noah desperately wanted you to be part of her life, but you weren't there for her. She's your baby girl and deserves better. Somehow, like me, she still idolizes you."
Billy Ray seemingly responded to Trace's letter on January 26 by sharing a clip from his 2009 music video for "Somebody Said a Prayer," featuring Trace.
"Sunday calls," Billy Ray captioned the footage on YouTube. "Giving thanks for the California rain. Praying for the brokenhearted and their pain. Praying for my family, for my children... sons and daughters... and their mother. May this moment mark the beginning of healing for us all. 'The past does not equal the future.' Amen."
Following Miley's latest Grammy win in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category for her song "I'm Up to Something" with Beyoncé on February 2, Billy Ray posted on Instagram, writing, "Congratulations @mileycyrus and @beyonce on their well-deserved @recordingacademy Grammy wins! Couldn't be prouder!!!"
Miley's 'Something Beautiful' album is scheduled for release on May 30, accompanied by a captivating visual film showcasing the Grammy winner in a striking narrative, featuring archival couture from Thierry Mugler, Jean Paul Gaultier, custom Alexander McQueen, and Alaïa, according to her Instagram.
Noah's latest single, "Don't Put It All on Me," featuring Fleet Foxes, is now available.
