R&B legends Brandy and Monica have officially announced their highly anticipated co-headlining tour, marking their first-ever joint venture on the road, during a recent appearance on CBS Mornings on Tuesday. Dubbed "The Boy Is Mine Tour," a nod to their iconic 1998 smash hit, this musical journey will also boast special appearances by Kelly Rowland, Muni Long, and Jamal Roberts, the freshly crowned winner of Season 23 of American Idol. The tour is being masterminded by the Black Promoters Collective.

"This is truly a moment of full-circle magic," Brandy exclaimed in a statement, brimming with excitement. "Monica and I reuniting isn't merely about the tunes; it's a homage to our origins and the miles we've both traveled. 'The Boy Is Mine' was a cornerstone in R&B history, and sharing the stage after all these years isn't just a reunion — it's a festive celebration of our growth, our sisterhood, and the unwavering love our fans have bestowed upon us since day one."

Commencing on October 16 at Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, the 24-city odyssey will conclude at Houston's Toyota Center on December 7, with pit stops in Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, and numerous other enchanting locales in between. Tickets will go live on June 27 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster, preceded by an exclusive presale through the Black Promoters Collective from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. local time the day before.

To add a cinematic flair, Brandy and Monica unveiled a captivating two-minute film helmed by Ethan Tobman, depicting the singers confined in separate prison cells, with "The Boy Is Mine" serving as their liberating anthem, breaking their chains and reuniting them.

"The enduring love for 'The Boy Is Mine' means the world to me," Monica expressed with heartfelt emotion. "This tour is a triumphant celebration of our shared history, our immense impact, and the devoted fans who have grown alongside us. Brandy and I have embarked on individual journeys, and converging in this manner underscores the might of respect, strength, and authentic music. We're granting our fans their heartfelt wish, and doing so with elegance, love, and a profound sense of purpose. God's timing has impeccably aligned us."

Last year, "The Boy Is Mine" witnessed a resurgence of interest after Brandy and Monica's reunion for a remix on Ariana Grande's 'Eternal Sunshine.' Speaking to Entertainment Tonight last year about collaborating with Brandy on the remix, Monica shared, "The process of this new collaboration bridged many gaps."

"Uniting Brandy and Monica for this tour is far more than a fleeting moment; it's a cultural homecoming of monumental proportions," Shelby Joyner, President of the Black Promoters Collective, declared in a statement. "Their indelible mark on R&B is beyond measure, and 'The Boy Is Mine' remains one of the most legendary collaborations of all time. At BPC, we are steadfast in our commitment to celebrating culture and legacy, and this tour stands as a potent testament to both."
