Brenda Song Calls Out Alaska Airlines for "Splitting Up" Family on Flight

Brenda Song is recounting a disastrous family vacation experience. The former "Suite Life of Zack and Cody" star, who shares children Dakota, 4, and Carson, 3, with fiancé Macaulay Culkin, accused Alaska Airlines of last-minute seat cancellations for her family's scheduled flight, resulting in their separation during the trip.

"I didn't know that when you book first-class tickets six months in advance for your family of six for your son's birthday, @alaskaair can just give away your seats the morning of with no warning, splitting you up from your 3 and 4-year-old kids," Brenda, 37, wrote in an Instagram Stories post on March 21. "We will never fly @alaskaair again, and neither should you."

Shortly thereafter, Macaulay, 45, reposted the message on his own Instagram Story, adding, "Hell hath no fury like a Brenda scorned."

Following the incident, Alaska Airlines deemed Brenda's experience "unacceptable," stating that the matter was "not reflective of the care we strive to deliver."

"Traveling can be stressful, especially with young children, and we pride ourselves on being a top airline for traveling families," a rep for the airline told E! News in a statement on March 22. "We are deeply sorry for adding friction to the experience."

Alaska Airlines also noted that they "have reached out to the family to make it right," adding, "We appreciate that guests have a choice in the airline they select and we take our responsibility to deliver a safe, reliable, and caring experience every single time."

While Brenda and Macaulay—whose romance began in 2017—have faced parenting challenges before, the "Running Point" actress previously shared that their experience raising young kids has only made their relationship stronger.

"No matter how well you know your partner, when you have kids, it's another phase of your relationship because you're dealing with situations that you've never dealt with," Brenda told E! News in April. "You're raising little humans together. It comes down to this really ground level of who you guys are and if you connect."
