Macaulay Culkin's blockbuster movie, "Home Alone," has unexpectedly brought benefits to his fiancée, Brenda Song, and their two sons, Dakota and Carson. The couple, who have been dating since 2017, announced their engagement in January 2022. They welcomed their first child, Dakota, in April 2021, and their second, Carson, in March 2023.

In an interview with E! News, Song revealed that they use the movie to teach their sons an important lesson rather than just discussing their father's celebrity status. Dakota and Carson enjoy the film's "hijinks" and elaborate "traps," but they are completely unaware of the danger in the movie.
One day after the boys finished watching the movie, Song told them, "See, your mama's here right next to you. Don't you want to give me a hug? I didn't leave." She continued, "I'm so terrible, but I feel like your children have to be a little scared. Fear goes a long way."
Song emphasizes the importance of stranger danger and considers anyone they don't know as a potential threat. "I was like, 'It doesn't matter if they're someone's parents. If you don't know their name or you've never seen them before at our house, they are a stranger,'" she said.
In addition to teaching her sons about stranger danger, Song is also teaching Dakota and Carson how to be aware of their surroundings. She constantly reminds them to be cautious and stay safe in their environment. This way, they can grow up to be smart and responsible individuals who understand the dangers that exist in the world.
