Brianna "Chickenfry" LaPaglia, a vibrant 25-year-old influencer, has embarked on a new chapter, ready to re-enter the dating arena. In a recent conversation with Elite Daily, she shed light on her transformed perspective on seeking love, following her highly-publicized and contentious split from Zach Bryan. While this isn't the maiden instance where LaPaglia has discussed her journey towards healing post-breakup, having admitted she was "utterly taken aback" by the country crooner's decision to make their separation public, she offered an update on her readiness to venture into romantic territories once more.

"I find myself in an emotionally inaccessible state, which is somewhat disheartening," she confessed to Elite Daily. "There have been some truly remarkable individuals who I believe could be wonderful for me, but I'm in an emotional turmoil right now, where even contemplating allowing someone into my life seems unfathomable."

However, the co-host of the BFFs Podcast, whose heart-wrenching separation from 28-year-old Bryan was publicly disclosed at the end of October 2024, pondered on what dating might entail for her when the time is ripe.

"I yearn for a regular Joe who can share laughter with me and someone who understands my world, yet isn't entangled in the same celebrity web," she mused about potentially embarking on a romance with someone removed from the limelight.

Following her breakup, LaPaglia, who has openly identified as bisexual and hinted on a BFFs episode that she might lean towards being "fully lesbian," revealed to the outlet that numerous women had reached out to her via direct messages, inviting her on dates after her very public split.

"Some famous women actually slid into my DMs, and I was like, 'What? I didn't even know you were gay!'" she exclaimed to Elite Daily. "It feels like I'm late to the party, and it's incredibly daunting." She further elaborated, "I'm 25, am I really going on my first date with a girl? Everyone in New York is a lesbian; they've been doing it for ages."

LaPaglia and Bryan first crossed paths at the Country Music Awards in May 2023 and officially confirmed their relationship on her PlanBri Uncut podcast. They subsequently celebrated their one-year anniversary on July 14, 2024.

Since publicly announcing their split on social media that October, Bryan has remained tight-lipped about the breakup. On the other hand, LaPaglia has been candidly sharing her thoughts on it across social media platforms and in interviews.

"Sometimes, I wish I didn't have to share anything and could simply heal and manage things behind closed doors," she poured her heart out to Elite Daily. "But that's not the hand I was dealt." Reflecting on the four months that had passed since their breakup, she remarked, "I still have my rough days and battle PTSD. So, who knows how long it'll take?"
