In a TikTok video posted on Tuesday, March 10th, 26-year-old influencer Brianna LaPaglia expressed her disapproval of the weight loss drug Ozempic. She began by saying, "No tea, no shade, no hate, just some field research," emphasizing that her opinion was not meant to offend but to raise awareness.
She went on to share her observation that "every single bitch I know is on Ozempic," noting that many people are using the drug without a legitimate need for it. "It's like if I did Ozempic. Could I lose a couple? Surely. Do I need Ozempic? No!" she emphasized.
The internet personality then gave a stern warning to those who use drugs without reason, saying, "You're gonna die. You're all gonna die," before ending her video.
Brianna's comments come weeks after she opened up about her own struggles with disordered eating during an appearance on the Real Pod podcast in February. She shared that she had an anxiety-induced eating disorder, where she would feel nauseous after eating. "Anytime I ate something, I would throw up," she said, adding that she would avoid food at all costs because it made her feel sick or because she was simply too nauseous to eat due to her anxiety.
