Yung Filly, a charismatic British YouTube sensation, television personality, and rapper, found himself in the dock in Australia, charged with a heinous crime of rape. The 29-year-old, renowned for his role as host of BBC3's popular reality series 'Hot Property,' was apprehended in Brisbane on Tuesday and subsequently transferred to Perth, where he faced the stern gaze of the Perth Magistrates' Court on Thursday. Filly, whose given name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, stands accused of sexually assaulting a young woman in her twenties within the confines of his hotel room in Perth, shortly after he had enthralled crowds at a venue in Hillarys, a picturesque coastal suburb to the north. The alleged incident, which shook the community, occurred on September 28.

The Western Australia Police have laid out a serious of charges against Filly, including four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault, and a single count of impeding a person's breathing by applying pressure to the neck. "This investigation remains active, and detectives from the Sex Assault Squad implore anyone with information pertaining to this case or any similar occurrences to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers," the police statement emphasized.

With over 1.8 million subscribers on YouTube, where he collaborates as part of the esteemed Beta Squad collective, and a combined 3.2 million followers on TikTok and Instagram, Filly's influence spans far beyond his digital realm. His foray into television has been equally impressive, notably hosting two seasons of BBC3's hit dating show 'Hot Property,' a production helmed by BBC Studios.
