The occasion marked their first red carpet appearance together.
"I'm here to celebrate the vibrant hues of the rainbow," Sam, 31, reveled to People at the grand event on April 25. The hotel stands as the world's inaugural luxury gay resort. "This community has left an indelible mark on my life. I'm a steadfast ally because they embody the essence of love. My unwavering support for this community stems from my admiration for their understanding of love, and I cherish every opportunity to express it."
True to their word, Sam and Brooke demonstrated their support by posing elegantly on the red carpet. Their attire mirrored The Tryst's minimalist aesthetic, with the model—who parted ways with Britney in August 2023—choosing a crisp white linen shirt and trousers ensemble, while Brooke donned a chic knit halter dress in matching hues.
Their celebration extended to the rooftop party, where other stars like Laverne Cox from Orange Is the New Black, TS Madison, Julia Fox, and more gathered to revel in the festivities. The couple then capped off their weekend by attending a drag brunch the following morning.
This venture comes three months after Sam characterized his seven-year relationship with Britney as a "hollywoodian crash course." He first encountered the "Gimme More" singer in October 2016, during her conservatorship under her father, Jamie Spears, and made their romance public four months later. Although he stood firmly by his former wife during her legal battle with her father, he acknowledged that Britney's intricate relationship with her family was among the most challenging aspects he had ever witnessed in the industry.
"One of the toughest aspects of entering the entertainment world is dealing with your parents and those surrounding you," Sam elaborated on the Sibling Revelry podcast hosted by Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson in January. "They exploit the situation, believing you owe them something, which is utterly absurd. That was the most perplexing and distressing downward spiral I've ever seen in my life."
