Brittany Cartwright Clarifies Comment About Having Her “Tubes Removed”

Published: Oct 15 2025

Brittany Cartwright has reclaimed her sparkle—and, as it turns out, her fallopian tubes remain intact. The "Valley" star recently stirred up a wave of curiosity among her social media followers as she openly shared how her body was responding to a recent medical procedure.

"I'm still on the mend from a major surgery, even though I'm feeling better with each passing day," she revealed in a video posted to her Instagram Stories on October 13. "Today, I had my drains (which I've been calling 'tubes' because that's what they looked like, lol) removed, and it went way smoother than I anticipated. There was hardly any pain; I barely felt a thing."

"It's insane how much better I instantly felt after having those drains removed," the 36-year-old continued, her voice brimming with enthusiasm. "I'm still pretty swollen, but, oh my gosh, I feel incredible."

Shortly after, Brittany—who is the doting mother to 4-year-old son Cruz, with her estranged husband Jax Taylor—took to her Instagram Stories once more to clarify exactly which "tubes" she had been referring to.

"Just to clear things up," she wrote, "I'm obviously talking about my drains (tubes). I've been calling them tubes because, well, that's what they resembled, lol. Rest assured, I still have my fallopian tubes (in case you were wondering, based on the DMs I've received)."

Earlier in the month, the reality TV sensation shared a selfie where she was seen with compression bandages wrapped snugly around her abdomen, accompanied by two surgical drains. She noted that she was "feeling stronger (and lighter) with each day."

"You all know I always keep it real," she penned in an Instagram post on October 5. "And sooo... I did something. Something I've been yearning to do for years, and I finally took the leap for myself. I couldn't be more thrilled."

Days later, she unveiled the precise procedures she had undergone as part of her "mommy makeover," which included abdominal reconstruction, liposuction, a tummy tuck, and the replacement of her breast implants with smaller ones.

"The pain is fleeting, but the surgery is life-altering," she declared on the October 10 episode of her "When Reality Hits" podcast. "I wholeheartedly believe it's worth it. I would absolutely do it again. I've crossed over to the other side now."
