BTS's charismatic leader, RM, alias Kim Namjoon, gracefully marked his milestone 30th birthday by gracing Instagram with a series of poignant glimpses into his current life amidst his military training endeavors. As he embarked on this new chapter, he tenderly reached out to his beloved ARMY, offering a heartfelt message laced with profound gratitude.
"Greetings, beloved ones! As I embark on this new decade at 30, (already, it seems!), I find myself overwhelmed by the warmth of your congratulations, even on days when self-doubt creeps in. Know that it is your unwavering love that fortifies me, enabling me to persevere through life's challenges with resilience."
Drawing inspiration from Buddhist wisdom, RM shared a profound thought, "A Buddhist adage echoes in my mind: 'One lives as a beacon, illuminating one's own path.' In the solitude of Hwacheon, or when vexation strikes without warning, I cling to this notion, finding solace and direction."
Acknowledging the myriad emotions he wished to convey, RM opted for a visual narrative, weaving his emotions through a series of captivating images. "Words fail me at this juncture, so let me express myself through the pictures I share on this platform. Just as in the making of our documentaries, there is a perfect time and place for profound conversations. Today, however, these images shall suffice as my testament."
Offering a glimpse into his military journey, he penned, "My military odyssey stands at its midpoint, each 3km trek at the Nonsan Training Center a testament to my grit. Those breathless moments mark the halfway mark, where nature's symphony—snowflakes giving way to sunshine, cherry blossoms blooming amidst the warming embrace of spring—serves as a reminder of renewal. I shall return, bolder and stronger."
