It's the long-awaited reunion of Jimmy and Jimin, along with RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, V, and Jung Kook from BTS! The septet will be gracing The Tonight Show for two nights this week—Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26—to celebrate the release of their new album, ARIRANG, and to share a pair of performances filmed inside New York's Guggenheim Museum.
On Wednesday's episode, BTS will be joining Jimmy Fallon for a hilarious and heartfelt reunion. They'll be wearing their traditional Korean house slippers to introduce Fallon to the customs of their homeland. Their song "Aliens," from ARIRANG, even references the respectful practice of removing shoes before entering a home. "If you wanna hit my house, shoes off at the door, yeah we aliens," Jung Kook sings.
Fallon will also ask the members to share what they missed about each other while they were apart completing their mandatory military service in South Korea. But that's not all! They'll also discuss the messages they imbued in this album, named after the Korean folk song "Arirang," a deeply meaningful cultural touchpoint in the country. They'll share their thoughts on going back to their roots while also making music for a global audience.
