Armie Hammer, the controversial actor who garnered acclaim for his role in the passionate, Oscar-winning gay romance "Call Me By Your Name," revealed in a recent episode of his podcast, "Armie HammerTime," that he once "attempted to engage in a romantic encounter with a man," but it ultimately failed to ignite any spark. "It was downright comical," Hammer recounted. "I found myself thinking, you know, women can be pretty tough. Gay guys, on the other hand, seem to have it made in the shade."

"It seemed so effortless," Hammer elaborated, providing an illustrative anecdote. "I was at a restaurant, and my phone buzzed incessantly with messages from Grindr. Someone had written, 'I'm at the same restaurant. Want to hook up in the bathroom?' And I responded, 'Hey guys, I'll be back in five.' Then, I got up, went to the bathroom, had a quick encounter, and came back thinking, 'Was that it?'" Curiosity piqued, Hammer decided to give it a shot. "Maybe this could actually work for me," he pondered.

That's when he encountered a striking French gentleman. "I thought, 'Okay, this could be the one. Let's give it a try,'" Hammer said. "I recall starting to kiss him and thinking, 'God, beards! I finally understand why women prefer a clean-shaven face. This is incredibly scratchy.'"

Moreover, Hammer wasn't fond of the man's physique. "I wrapped my arms around him and thought, 'Oh my goodness,'" Hammer recounted. "His shoulders were so broad. He was nearly as tall as me. It was so strange. Physically, it didn't do anything for me. Absolutely nothing. Not even a flicker... As we kissed, it started to get hotter and heavier, but I was just going through the motions. When he reached for my penis, I firmly said, 'You're not going to touch my limp penis.'"

Hammer had to call it quits, informing his kissing partner of the situation. The actor famously exited Hollywood's limelight after being accused of sexual assault in 2021. He vehemently denied any wrongdoing, and in May 2023, the Los Angeles County District Attorney decided against filing charges against him. Nevertheless, the aftermath was severe. Several accusers shared messages they claimed Hammer had sent, filled with references to cannibalism and BDSM. Consequently, Hammer was dropped by his agency and multiple projects, including the 2022 film "Shotgun Wedding" with Jennifer Lopez and the TV series "The Offer," which chronicled the making of "The Godfather." However, he is anticipated to make a triumphant return to the silver screen in the upcoming Western "Frontier Crucible," starring alongside William H. Macy.
