The star of "Captain America: Brave New World" indulged in some public displays of affection with an enigmatic woman during a stroll through London on August 12. That evening, Anthony, clad in dark-wash jeans, a crisp white T-shirt layered with a gray sweatshirt, wrapped his arms around his companion, who donned cowboy boots and a frilly white mini dress. At one passionate moment, the actor from "8 Mile" bent down and placed his hands on her rear as they engaged in a steamy kiss on the sidewalk.
Their evening in the U.K. was marked by more than just passionate kisses; the duo were also spotted holding hands and exchanging smiles as they wandered down the street later that night. Despite Anthony's obvious enjoyment with his mysterious partner, the 46-year-old has previously confessed that navigating the dating scene under the public gaze is "really hard."
"How does one trust another when under such scrutiny?" he elaborated in an interview with People published on February 8. "How can one allow themselves to be vulnerable? How does one discern someone's true intentions when all one craves is to be loved and appreciated? What does such a connection even entail?"
Anthony, who parted ways with his ex-wife Sheletta Chapital in 2018 after four years of marriage, has no inclination towards seeking love through dating apps. "I'm older now, and I don't do the apps," he stated. For the Marvel actor, who shares four sons (whose names remain undisclosed) with Sheletta, privacy is paramount, regardless of his public status. "I'm not one for the limelight," he admitted.
"I cherish the recognition I receive for my work, but social anxiety is a genuine struggle," Anthony continued. "It drives me to seek refuge in familiar places where I know I'll be taken care of. I often find myself sitting in a corner, shielding myself with an imaginary umbrella."
